Squid Soup Anyone?

Do not be alarmed if a Vietnamese asks if you want to have some squid soup.... What they actually mean is sweet soup..... They have many kinds of sweet soup here and most of the time it's cold..... must be due to the weather..... My favourite is the che dao san, which is the sweet soup of green bean with coconut milk and ice shavings! It costs about 20 cents to have a cup at the roadside stall just outside my office. But a similar cup would cost 60 cents in the tourist area!
