Warm Weather Weekend

Due to a twist of events, I can finally go back home to Singapore! Yay! It's too much of a hassle to extend my visa in China, so my boss gave me 2 choices: Go to Hong Kong or return to Singapore for the weekend. You may think I'm silly to give up a free holiday to HK, but I think if you are in my position, you would want nothing more than a chance to go back home. I need some warmth!
In yet another amusing twist of events, my mother is now in Jinan with me. So I'll be abandoning her when I go back home. I'm packing her off to meet some friends in Weifang so at least I know she'll be safe.
Bwahahaha! Can't wait to get home! But I'll only be home for a short time, so I don't think I'll have a chance to meet up with people. We'll have to wait till January!

Head Turning Factor

A few weeks ago, I thought it was normal for people to be looking at me when I walked on the streets as I was always dressed in extreme layers. But lately, I've kind of gotten used to the cold and have started to dress in a similar way to the locals. Yet, I still get looks from them. I mentioned this to my student and she replied "因为你的回头率高". Ok, I take that as a compliment.

So on a scale of 1 to 10, what do you think is your "Head Turning Factor"?
