We Meet Again

I thought that after leaving my job in China, I would never see Gem (in camo prints) and Marvin (striped singlet) again. They were my shopping kakis in Jinan! However, being true shopaholics, they were in town for the Great Singapore Sale! We met up together with uncle Daniel (we taught in China and Myanmar together) for a cuppa.

Uncle Daniel commented he looked more like our bodyguard than our centre manager!

Love Me!

Ever since moving into sissy's place, everyone in the family has been trying to win doggie over. And the winner is..... Papa! Reason being he is the one who wakes up the earliest and brings Randolph for his morning walks. I rank last on Randolph's list of favourite people because
1. I am not his rightful owner like my sissy
2. I cannot wake up early enough to bring him walking like my father
3. I don't feed him apples or bread ends like my mother

What can I do to make doggie love me? I keep calling out to it to make it come to me but alas, it has come to naught.

Randolph! No response.
RANDOLPH!!! No response.
Doggie! No response still.
Gou gou! Again no response.
Ah gao! Silence.
Si gao!!! Dead silence.

Randolph doesn't understand me when I speak English, Mandarin or Hokkien. I give up.
