I Want Doggie!!!

According to my sissy, a dog is a perfect chick magnet. I can't agree more going by how much attention 丑丑 got from all the ladies at the flea market! In case you are wondering if you have read her name wrongly, it really means ugly. But she's far from ugly... So cute in fact! You wouldn't believe how obedient this dog is!

Family of Elves

Father elf drives the whole elf family around and helps to transport the Swirl goods.
Mother elf helps to keep the Swirl house clean and is the most active Swirl salesgirl I've ever met.
Sister elf is the odd-job girl who does anything that the Swirl bosses want.

The Swirl elves will be busy again this Sunday because the flea market is back! Catch the family of elves from 11 am to 6 pm at the Red Dot Museum!

Fire in the Sky

I love fireworks...... So beautiful, yet so transient...... I squeezed into the crowd at the Esplanade on Friday just to catch a glimpse of the fireworks...... Only to be sorely disappointed by what I saw...... I didn't even bother to take any photos, because by the time I had overcome the initial excitement, the fireworks display was over! I thought I would give the fireworks a second chance by going again on Saturday. It was slightly better than Friday's but I think nothing can beat the hour long 'hanabe' show I had in Japan last year....... So much variation and colour, plus the very animated Japanese going 'Ohh' and 'Ahh' at every single shot of fireworks only added to the exciting atmosphere. I'm sure to return to Japan for another round of hanabe!

Double Standards

Why is it we always do a double take when we see / hear that

1. the girl is taller than the guy
2. the girl is fatter than the guy
3. the girl earns more than the guy
4. the girl is older than the guy
5. the girl comes from a better background than the guy
6. the girl is having an affair

But it seems to be the norm when the opposite happens?

Object of Desire

I have not changed my mobile for the longest of months! That's an extremely long time going by how friends around me keep changing their handphones like clothes! I can't wait for the Sony Ericsson W850i! I want the golden white one!!! Errm..... So is it gold or white?

Visitors from Mandalay

My students from Mandalay came over to Singapore on an educational tour. I did some touristy thing with them by posing in front of the world's largest fountain! That's the most I'll do..... They would have to drag me to walk 3 times around the fountain of wealth! To be honest, I've never been this close to the fountain before!
